Symbolising the victory of good over evil, Durga Puja is celebrated with great pomp in every town and city of Odisha. The three major Pujas of the state are the Chandi Medha (Silver) of Cuttack, Shahid Nagar's Durga Puja and Nayapalli's Durga Puja. The images are taken in a spectacular procession for immersion in the river Kathajodi.
