Rath Yatra, also known as the Chariot Festival, is one of the most prominent festivals of Odisha, celebrated in the holy city of Puri. 'Rath' means 'Chariot' and 'Yatra' means 'Procession'. This festival was initiated in Jagannath Temple and still attracts devotees from different parts of India. It is a very colorful festivity in which people participate enthusiastically.
